Special Visitors to Blenham House

Activities are a big part of day to day life at all the Randolph Hill nursing homes, however we had an extra special activity recently with our residents at Blenham House and a group of local nursery children.

The nursery children paid a visit to Blenham House with one of the children sharing a birthday with our resident. Both residents and nursery children sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to the pair who were delighted to receive such a warm and happy celebration from everyone.

The nursery children stayed for the afternoon, playing games, singing songs and even listening to stories told by some of our residents.

Introducing nursery children and nursing homes residents is a great initiative that has been welcomed by Blenham House and is a fantastic way to bridge the gap between the two generations.
