Remembrance Day at Fidra House
Fidra House resident Norman had the honour of laying our homemade wreath this year, which was created by residents and staff. Norman was proud to reflect on his time in the National Service and being a doctor during many difficult times throughout his life. He also shared his knowledge of those in his family who fought in the war.
Residents enjoyed watching the BBC The Remembrance: The Cenotaph, including the Royal Family and UK politicians. Our visiting bagpiper John played for us following the two-minute silence.
