Muirfield Official Opening

Last week, there was a very special event at our Muirfield home in Gullane. We were delighted to have Lord Lieutenant Michael Williams MBE come to officially open the home. Friends and families of residents were also invited along to enjoy the opening event.

Peter McCormick gave a speech along with the Lord Lieutenant who cut the ribbon with our Muirfield manager, Heather Franklin.

Following the speeches, we had a string quartet play for the event and the attendees enjoyed a glass of champagne and some delicious sweet and savoury canapes that were made by our talented kitchen staff. Staff at Muirfield were all involved in the big day and were serving the refreshments, and doing a great job at it!

It was a beautiful day so people were able to enjoy the beautiful garden space and there was even some residents up dancing to the music, enjoying their afternoon.
