Fidra House January Update

Staff and residents have been up to lots of fun activities over the festive period and throughout January.

Residents were taken on an extra special trip through to the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh where they watched a performance of the famous ballet, The Nutcracker. It was a fantastic performance and we were lucky enough to even meet the stars of the show afterwards! A great afternoon enjoyed by all.

Gallery Outing

With Fidra House being situated in North Berwick, we are lucky enough to be surrounded by some lovely art galleries. Our staff and residents took a trip to an exhibition at the Hope Rooms where they browsed some beautiful pieces of art.

Marvelous Bird Food Creations

With spring fast approaching, we thought it would be a good idea to entice some birds to our beautiful Fidra House garden. Our residents got stuck into making some bird food pots where they chopped and mixed ingredients to make tasty snacks for the birds. They may not have been the most appetizing to us, but they have been a great hit with the local wildlife!
