Randolph Hill, Dunblane Easter Activities
The sun is shining, the flowers are in bloom, it must be Easter time here at Randolph Hill Dunblane!
The residents at Randolph Hill Dunblane were treated to a visit from some very special Easter guests. Ten gorgeous chicks were tentatively looked after by staff and residents and everyone really enjoyed handling and caring for them. They were wonderful Easter guests and residents did really well to show them plenty of love and affection.
On Easter Sunday a group of residents took a trip to Dunblane Cathedral for a lovely Easter service. They had a great time chatting to the locals and of course singing along to some of their favourite hymns.
However, it wouldn’t be Easter without some delicious chocolate eggs! Every resident received a chocolate Easter Egg which went down a treat, and on Easter Monday, we had a raffle and our lucky winner Sandy Farquharson received a lovely big hamper.
Along with the Easter celebrations, our residents have been busy taking day trips outside of Dunblane. A number of residents went to go and discover The Kelpies, the Falkirk Wheel and Dobbies the garden centre. They were great days out enjoyed by all!
Residents who stayed home were busy making delicious soup and wonderful Easter decorations that were hung up around the Randolph Hill home putting everyone in the mood for Spring!
Finally, everyone was treated to a great performance from Mervin the accordionist who played us some of his fantastic songs. We look forward to his next visit!
