Nursing care - From everyday support to 24-hour medical care
Our policy of treating each person as an individual – see person-centred care – is the backbone of our nursing care.
We like to focus on the positive, tailoring the way we care for a person around what they can do, rather than what they can’t. This approach promotes independence and maintains their sense of dignity which, we believe, is paramount for an older person.
Extra care may be necessary, as a resident becomes frailer. We offer accommodation and personal care such as help with washing and getting dressed. We also provide round-the-clock intensive nursing care, for those who need medical attention.
Our nurses and carers are all highly trained. Many are long-standing members of staff with years of nursing experience between them. For this reason, Randolph Hill homes are regarded by residents, their families and the GP practices we work with, as upholding good quality nursing care.
