Short-term stays

Often a move into a care home follows a crisis – maybe for a short period while recuperating from an operation or to offer respite allowing their carers to take a short break.

Respite care is a short-term option lasting one-to-six weeks.

We are always able to offer the dedicated nursing needed by someone who is convalescing from surgery or treatment: a Randolph Hill home can be the perfect stop-gap between hospital care and independent living at home. It’s also a good way of trying out residential care – often short-term guests are pleasantly surprised at how much they enjoy it!

All our care homes offer respite care – contact the manager of the nursing home that is most convenient for you.

Those needing emergency respite at short notice will be accommodated where possible (subject to availability).
